Car dumped, set alight in skate bowl

Mount Barker Police are seeking the public’s assistance with information to assist with their investigation into an incident at the skate park yesterday, Saturday 10 March 2018.

Around 2:30am, offenders have driven a white 1992 model Ford Laser hatchback into the skate park located on Lowood Road. The vehicle was set alight and destroyed by the fire.

Mount Barker Volunteer Fire Brigade officers attended and extinguished the fire.

The heat from the fire damaged the concrete structure of the skating bowl. The cost of the damage is estimated at $5,000.
