The Community Cabinet meetings give local residents and organisations the opportunity to meet with the Premier and Cabinet Ministers, to discuss local issues and open community dialogue.

Discussions facilitated by local Members of Parliament, Belmont MLA Cassie Rowe and Victoria Park MLA Ben Wyatt will focus on local job creating industries, including tourism, racing and urban planning.

A key feature of the State Government’s Community Cabinet is the town hall meeting.

More than 200 people are expected to attend the March 11 town hall meeting where they will have the opportunity to discuss pressing issues that matter to the Belmont and Victoria Park areas, and pose questions to the Premier and Cabinet Ministers in a public forum.

This Community Cabinet will also mark the one-year anniversary of the Government’s 2017 election win.

A series of Community Cabinet meetings are held throughout the year. Each visit comprises a formal Cabinet meeting, and may include formal and informal community consultations affecting the area or the wider State.
