Duo charged with 63 offences over Hillarys, Scarborough burglaries

Officers from Hillarys Police have charged two people with 63 offences as a result of their investigation into burglaries and stolen motor vehicles in the Hillarys and Scarborough sub districts.

It will be alleged the two women committed the offences between 29 January and 11 February 2018.

On Sunday 11 February 2018, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Woodrow Avenue in Yokine. It will also be alleged during the search they located and seized approximately $25,000 worth of stolen property including jewellery, laptops, phones and tablets.

A 21 year old woman from Yokine is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, charged with:

  • 45 counts of Unlawful Possession;
  • Four counts of Stealing;
  • Three counts of Aggravated Burglary and Commit;
  • Two counts of Fraud; and
  • One count of Possess Cannabis.

A 23 year old woman from Padbury is due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on 12 March 2018, charged with:-

  • Four counts of Fraud;
  • Two counts of Aggravated Burglary and Commit; and
  • Two counts of Stealing.
