Suspected arson in motor home fire

WA Police Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist with their investigation into a fire that destroyed a 40 foot luxury coach/motor home on Thursday 4 January 2018.

Between 4:30pm and 9:30pm unknown offender(s) set fire to the motor home which was parked at the airstrip on Pinjarra-Williams Road, near Inglehope Road, Inglehope (near Dwellingup).

The motor home was destroyed by the fire and the cost of the damage is estimated to be in excess of $150,000.

Investigators are requesting anyone who was travelling in the area during the above times to check their dash cam footage.

Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
