Man, 18, charged for multiple crimes across Perth

Kensington Detectives have charged an 18 year old man following investigations into a number of offences that had been committed across the Perth metropolitan area.

Police were investigating a series of burglaries that had been committed on homes in the Perth suburbs of Cannington, Armadale, Success, Huntingdale, West Perth, Leda, Belmont, Nollamara and Camillo between 26 October and 27 December 2017. All burglaries involved the theft of jewellery, cash and credit cards.

Yesterday (27 December 2017), Kensington Detectives and Murdoch Police with the assistance of Canine apprehended the man at a home in Success. It is alleged the man was in possession of a large quantity of cash and stolen property.

The man from no fixed address has been charged with:

  • 10 counts of Home Burglary;
  • 11 counts of stealing;
  • 1 count of Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property; and
  • 2 counts of Breaching Bail

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 28 December 2017.
