Optus Stadium serving up South-West produce and supporting local jobs

A Boyanup family business has joined Manjimup growers and farmers from across the South-West and Wheatbelt in supplying local produce to Optus Stadium.

Boyanup’s Lotsa Lollies supplies the stadium with chocolate and confectionery – and also bakes cakes, slices, muffins and cookies locally for sale at the venue.

Based out of The Gingerbread House Café in Boyanup, the company has employed extra staff and opened a new retail outlet in Perth since beginning its relationship with the stadium.

Optus Stadium’s Perth-based meat and vegetable suppliers – Morley Growers and Classic Meats, source a majority of their produce from the South-West and Wheatbelt – both having long relationships with local farmers and growers.

Family-run Morley Growers sources pumpkin, squash, apples, baby beetroot, carrots and other heirloom vegetables from Manjimup, Pemberton, Albany and Gingin.

Bespoke butcher Classic Meats supplies the stadium with local lamb, pork, bacon, smallgoods, as well as beef for its burgers from farms across the South-West and Wheatbelt regions.
