Arson possible cause of Ellenbrook bush fire

Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist with their investigation into a suspicious fire in Ellenbrook yesterday, Monday 16 April 2018.

Around 2:30pm, Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to reports of a fire in bushland on fire on Farmaner Parkway near Elmore Parade.

The fire burnt four hectares of bushland and Arson Squad detectives ascertained the fire started within the bush area of the reserve. The fire is being treated as suspicious.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who lives in the area or was in the vicinity of the above area who may have seen any suspicious people, vehicles or activity in the area around the time of the fire.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
