The State Government has approved a $2 million funding rescue package to ensure CLCs continue to provide legal services across Western Australia.
$1.35 million of this funding will be used to ensure no CLC receives less funding than previously.
The remainder will be allocated following discussions between the Department of Justice, the Community Legal Centres Association (WA) and Legal Aid on the best way to deliver CLC services in the future.
