A special deal for the next six months will see kids receive free island admission when travelling to Rottnest Island after 11am.
The offer runs from April 3 to September 20, 2018, excluding school holidays and is expected to encourage additional numbers to Rottnest Island during the traditional off-peak periods.
The deal follows on from the successful ‘Rotto from Day to Dusk’ campaign which offered discounted afternoon island admission during summer.
Visitation records over the summer period were smashed as almost 220,000 Western Australians and tourists flocked to Rottnest Island.
In January 2018 alone, a record 87,400 ferry travellers visited Rottnest, which is nearly 30,000 more than the comparative month last year – a significant result in any given month since ferry travel data was first collected 27 years ago.
