Attorney General John Quigley will officially open the new Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) office today.
The decision to relocate from the current central business district location was based on a sound rationale to support the CCC’s operational and administrative efficiencies.
The long-term cost savings associated with relocating to smaller and less expensive premises were significant, even allowing for fit-out costs. The relocation project has been delivered under budget and on time.
The new office accommodates the entire CCC team of more than 120 people and provides a special operational centre, as well as purpose-built public examination rooms and interview rooms, all on one floor – for the first time.
