Man charged over obscene acts in shopping centre carpark

Armadale Detectives have charged a 39 year old man after an incident yesterday, Sunday 11 March 2018.

Around 11:55am, the man was sitting in a parked vehicle at a shopping centre located on Abernethy Road in Byford.

It will be alleged the man used a handheld video recorder to film a woman entering and exiting the shopping centre and loading her shopping into her car.

It is further alleged during the filming he committed an obscene act in his vehicle. He was arrested at the scene.

The 39 year old man from Byford has been charged with ‘Obscene Acts in Public’.

He is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court on 23 March 2018.
