Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Yokine at around 6:05pm on Thursday, 8 February 2018.
A 56 year old man was riding his white and black 2001 model Honda 1000cc motorcycle north along Flinders Street in the left hand lane of the dual carriageway. A white van also travelling north has moved from the right hand lane into the left forcing the man to take evasive action.
The man braked heavily and his motorcycle struck the kerb causing him to fall from the motorcycle onto the road. The driver of the van continued on, possibly unaware of what had occurred.
The motorcycle rider was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital with a shoulder injury.
Police would like to speak to the driver of the van or anyone who may have seen the incident.
