Attorney General John Quigley has announced the appointment of Wendy Gillan as a judge of the District Court of Western Australia and Gail Sutherland as a judge of the Family Court of Western Australia.
Ms Gillan’s appointment will fill the vacancy left by the retirement of His Honour Judge Phillip Eaton, while Ms Sutherland’s appointment will fill a vacancy left by the retirement of the Honourable Justice John Walters.
Leonie Forrest has been appointed as an acting magistrate of the Family Court of WA until October 1, 2018.
