Car collides with tree after leaving road in Carabooda

Traffic Enforcement Group officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Carabooda yesterday, Tuesday 2 January 2018.

Around 4:40am, a gold 2001 model Toyota Camry was travelling west on Old Yanchep Road when the driver failed to negotiate a left hand bend and lost control of the vehicle.

The Toyota left the road and hit a tree then a wire fence, trapping the driver in the vehicle.

The 46 year old male driver of the car received serious injuries in the crash and was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in the Intensive Care Unit.
