Major Crash Investigation Officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the Bindoon-Moora Road in Mooliabeenee on Saturday 16 December 2017 at approximately 11.30am.
The crash occurred when a red 2013 Yamaha motorcycle travelling south on the Bindoon-Moora Road left the carriageway and crashed into a culvert near the intersection of Wells-Glover Road.
The 57-year-old male rider from Ellenbrook died at the scene from injuries he sustained in the crash.
The man was in company with two other riders at the time. One was riding a grey coloured 2015 Yamaha motorcycle, and the other an orange 2014 KTM motorcycle.
Major Crash investigators are seeking witnesses who may have seen the motorcycles riding in the Gin Gin, New Norcia and Mooliabeenee areas prior to the crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
