Police have charged two men as a result of their investigation into an assault that occurred on Saturday, 25 November 2017 at a shopping centre located on Quinns Road in Quinns Rock.
Around 5:10pm, a 46 year old man was in the carpark of the shopping centre when two men approached him. It is alleged the men assaulted the victim, punching and kicking him.
The victim received serious injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to the Joondalup Health Campus for treatment.
A 37 year old man and a 19 year old man, both from Merriwa, have been charged with Acts Intended to Cause Grievous Bodily Harm. They are next due to appear in the Joondalup Magistrates Court on 4 December 2017.
There were several people in the shopping centre and carpark area at the time of the incident and Police would like to speak to anyone who assisted the victim or saw the altercation.
