Two in hospital after serious crash in Dudley Park

Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash which occurred in Dudley Park around 9.30pm last night, Saturday 9 September 2017.

The crash occurred when a black and red, Hyosung motorcycle travelling south on Coolibah Avenue, Dudley Park failed to negotiate the T-junction at the intersection of Leslie Street and collided with a fence on the southern side of the intersection.

The motorcycle was carrying a driver and pillion passenger who were both wearing helmets. At the time of the crash, Police were attempting to stop the motorcycle.

The 20 year old male rider suffered serious injuries and was conveyed to Peel Health campus before being flown to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment. The 35 year old male passenger was conveyed to Peel Health campus for treatment for his injuries.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are being overseen by the Internal Affairs Unit.
