Identity sought following robbery

Kensington Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of a robbery in Victoria Park on Friday 4 August 2017.

At approximately 11:15 a 19 year old man was walking on Teague Street Victoria Park, towards the Victoria Park train station.

A white sedan approached him from Duncan Street and a male from the front passenger side (image below) walked up to him, snatched his bag and ran back to the car. The car drove off towards Axon Avenue.

The man is described as medium build approximately 185 cm tall, in his late 40s with olive skin, a longer face with gaunt cheeks and dark brown hair. He was wearing a loose fitting black jumper with a Red Bull logo on the upper right chest area and grey track suit pants with black and grey joggers.

The driver is described as being fair-skinned, in his mid-30s to early 40s, wearing a black cap and had a left side lip piercing.
