Children to get free entry to New Museum

The $396 million new Western Australian Museum, currently under construction and due to open in 2020, will offer free entry to children.

The decision to exempt children from an admissions fee was made despite significant budgetary pressures, and will ensure that future generations are exposed to cultural infrastructure and events.

Adults will be charged a $15 entrance fee, with pensioners and concession card holders paying $10.
