Hay Park sporting complex is set to receive millions in funding to assist with lighting and drainage upgrades.
The 2018-19 State Budget will include $3.9 million towards the facility, with $150,000 allocated to assist with project planning in 2017-18.
Bunbury MLA Don Punch has driven the local campaign for the upgrades, making securing funding for Hay Park one of his priorities during the 2017 State Election.
Hay Park is the largest sporting reserve in Bunbury, catering for a range of sports from BMX and croquet to field sports such as AFL, cricket and soccer.
