Beat the price cycle – fuel up 21c per litre tomorrow

The average cost of unleaded petrol is set to increase by around 21 cents per litre (cpl) to 152.8 cpl tomorrow.

FuelWatch advises that on Tuesday 1 May 2018, most BP, Caltex, Caltex Woolworths, Puma and Coles Express sites are hiking their ULP price to 156.9 cpl (an increase of between 23 and 27 cpl). Most 7-Eleven sites are increasing their ULP price to 154.9 cpl and most Vibe sites to 145.7 cpl.

Perth’s weekly petrol price cycle results in prices, on average, being cheapest on Sunday and Monday and at their most expensive on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you need to fill up tomorrow, there are still 30 sites selling below 137 cpl. The difference between the highest and lowest priced sites is 25 cpl, which means you can save up to $15 on a 60 litre tank of fuel.

Monday’s cheapest ULP is available for:

  • 125.9 cpl at Puma High Wycombe in the East;
  • 125.9 cpl at 7-Eleven Bibra Lake, 7-Eleven Canning Vale, 7-Eleven Maddington South and Puma Atwell in the South; and
  • 126.7 cpl at Caltex Woolworths Greenwood and Caltex Woolworths Joondalup Winton Road in the North.

Tuesday’s cheapest ULP will be available for:

  • 131.7 cpl at United Roleystone in the East;
  • 131.7 cpl at Better Choice Naval Base, United East Victoria Park, United Hamilton Hill and United Myaree in the South; and
  • 131.7 cpl at United Hepburn Heights, United Mt Lawley, United Northbridge, United Osborne Park and United Quinns Rocks in the North.
