Driver succumbs to injuries from 4WD rollover

Major Crash officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was involved in a traffic crash near Moora on Friday, 9 February 2018.

Around 12:25am, a black coloured Toyota Prado was travelling east along the Miling-Moora Road when approximately 7kms east of Moora, the vehicle left the road and struck the barrier at the entry to a bridge.

The Prado rolled several times before coming to rest in the dry river bed.

The driver of the vehicle, a 55 year old man from Bindi Bindi, received life threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital. He died several weeks later as a result of the injuries he received in the crash. A female passenger received minor injuries.
