Bellevue house destroyed by suspected arson

Arson Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with information to assist with their investigation into a fire at a home in Bellevue in the early hours of this morning, 7 April 2018.

Just after midnight, Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at the unoccupied home located on Clayton Street at the corner of the roundabout with Henkin Street.

The fire completely destroyed the weatherboard home. Asbestos was located within the building.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in area around the time of the fire, or earlier in the evening who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles.
