Grants to boost food export capabilities

The State Government has launched a $1 million grants program to drive the global competitiveness of Western Australia’s agriculture and food industry.

The Export Competitiveness Grants program offers grants between $50,000 and $250,000 for projects that can deliver broad benefits to the sector.

WA businesses involved in agrifood production, wholesale, processing or manufacturing can apply. Successful applicants will need to make a matching funding contribution to the project.

The program is administered by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and is focused on supporting sustainable growth of the State’s agrifood sector.
