Two men sought over Yokine arson

Arson Squad Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance with information to assist with their investigation into a fire at a hair dressing salon in Yokine on Tuesday, 6 March 2018.

Emergency services were called to the premises on Michael Street around 3am, after the sound of glass breaking was heard followed by a fire.

Two men arrived in a vehicle and approached the front of the hair salon. They forced their way into the premises and poured an unknown accelerant inside and set it alight. The hair salon was completely destroyed and the estimated cost of the damage is believed to be in excess of $50,000.

Investigators would like to speak to anyone who has dash cam footage or CCTV from the area around the time of the fire.
