Upgraded South West Police Complex to accommodate extra staff

Police Minister Michelle Roberts today formally relaunched the upgraded South West Police Complex.

The $5.8 million upgrade ensures these extra officers are adequately accommodated and includes:

  • An expansion of operational areas and facilities;
  • An upgrade to staff amenities;
  • Replacement of the building’s air-conditioning system;
  • An upgrade to the CCTV systems;
  • Two new public interview rooms;
  • New furniture, desks and shelving; and
  • New flooring throughout the facility.

Busselton-based D’Agostino & Luff were the architects for the project, with Bunbury-based Perkins Builders completing the works.

The police station remained operational throughout the construction.

Also today, three serving and three retired officers were presented with service medals for their commitment to the South-West region.
