Embleton man to front court with 40 offences

Bayswater Police and Cockburn Police have arrested a man for 40 offences as a result of their extensive investigation into a series of stealing incidents between November 2017 and 30 January 2018, which occurred across policing districts including the suburbs of Atwell, Aubin Grove, Bayswater, Bibra Lake, Dianella, Embleton, Hammond Park, Success and Wandi.

The 34 year old man from Embleton has been charged with:

  • 21 counts of Gains Benefit by Fraud;
  • 13 counts of Stealing (12 from motor vehicles);
  • 2 counts of Breach of Bail;
  • 1 count of Aggravated Burglary and Commit;
  • 1 count of Possess Prohibited Drug (Methylamphetamine);
  • 1 count of Possess Drug Paraphernalia; and
  • 1 count of Unlicensed Person Possess Ammunition.

He is due to appear before the Fremantle Magistrates Court today, 31 January 2018.
