Woman assaulted in Thornlie

Canning Vale Police are seeking information regarding an assault incident in Thornlie on Wednesday 17 January 2018.

About 6:20pm a 73 year old woman was out walking when she was approached by a man near a car park on Spring Road, Thornlie. Without warning the man punched the woman to the head, and then walked off. He was last seen walking south on Spring Road, towards Gosnells.

The woman returned home and called police to report the incident.

The offender is described as male, fair skinned with a grey weathered complexion, 40 – 50 years old, about 170 – 175cm tall, of slight build, with scruffy greying hair and beard, and blue/grey eyes. He was wearing a black / dark navy long sleeved windcheater and track pants.
