Release of 2017 Climate Change Policy Review

The Department of the Environment and Energy has released the 2017 review of Australia’s climate change policies.

The Government asked the Department to conduct a review of its climate change policies to take stock of Australia’s progress in reducing emissions, and ensure the Government’s policies remain effective in achieving Australia’s 2030 target and Paris Agreement commitments.

We welcome the review and will continue to work closely with the Department to implement the Government’s climate change policies, such as the Emissions Reduction Fund, Renewable Energy Target and National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting scheme.

The full review can be found on the Department of Environment and Energy’s website.
