Further activity in relation to AFP Operation Elbrus

A 31-year-old Bondi Beach woman has been served a court attendance notice today (Thursday, 14 December 2017) as part of ongoing investigations relating to AFP Operation ELBRUS.

Investigators conducted search warrants at the woman’s Bondi Beach home this morning, where a vehicle was seized pursuant to proceeds of crime proceedings.

The woman will appear in Downing Centre Local Court  on 30 January 2018 where she will be charged with publishing false or misleading material to obtain a financial advantage, contrary to section 192G(b) of the Crimes Act 1900 (NSW).

The maximum penalty for this offence is five years imprisonment.
