Violent stealing incident in Bunbury

Bunbury Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist them with their investigation into an incident in Bunbury on Wednesday 15 November 2017.

Around 11am, a woman in a wheelchair and her female carer (both in their 50s) left a business located on Wittenoom street when an unknown woman attempted to grab a handbag that was hanging on the handle of the wheelchair.

A struggle ensued between the carer and the offender, resulting in the carer being pushed to the ground. The offender fled with the handbag.

The offender described as 20 to 30 years of age, with dark skin, approximately 162cms tall, a slim build, long dark hair, an eyebrow ring above her left eye and a scar on her right arm. She was wearing a black t-shirt and black tights.
