Innovators from across Western Australia will meet in Bunbury today to set the roadmap for government investment in regional innovation to stimulate economic diversification in the regions.
The Regional Innovation Summit in Bunbury brings together innovators, industry groups, academia, Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and State and local governments.
The event will help guide the investment of the State Government’s $4.5 million regional component of the New Industries Fund and inform future initiatives and projects aimed at creating jobs, and developing talent and skills in the regions.
Speakers are a mix of innovation champions, start-ups, and high-growth small to medium-sized enterprises and industry players who have helped transform their industries by accelerating research and development, venture creation and growth.
