Four people charged with 33 offences

Armadale Detectives have charged four people with 33 offences as a result of their ongoing investigation into commercial and home burglaries in the South East and Central Metropolitan Districts between August and September 2017.

Across Wednesday 15 November and Thursday 16 November 2017, Detectives executed search warrants on five residences in Kewdale, Thornlie, Beckenham and Brookdale. As a result of these searches four people were taken into custody and alleged stolen property was recovered.

A 20 year old man from Brookdale is due to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court today charged with:-

  • Seven counts of Stealing;
  • Three counts of Aggravated Home Burglary;
  • Two counts of Aggravated Burglary;
  • Two counts of Steal a Motor Vehicle;
  • One count of Trespass; and
  • One count of Breach of Bail.

A 17 year old boy from Kewdale is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today charged with:-

  • Six counts of Stealing;
  • Four counts of Aggravated Burglary;
  • Three counts of Steal a Motor Vehicle; and
  • One count of Trespass.

A 16 year old boy from Beckenham is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court today charged with Steal a Motor Vehicle.

A 16 year old boy from Thornlie is due to appear before the Perth Children’s Court on 30 November 2017 charged with Steal a Motor Vehicle.
