Junior competition drag racing at Perth Motorplex has been suspended pending the outcome of the police investigation into a fatal accident involving a junior driver on November 11.
Eight-year-old junior driver Anita Board suffered fatal injuries after an accident that occurred during a licencing pass at Perth Motorplex.
The accident is under police investigation with the assistance of motorsport sanctioning body, Australian National Drag Racing Association. Junior age categories for drag racing are set by the Association.
Perth Motorplex is the only facility in Western Australia where drag racing is held.
