62 year old assaulted in Coolbinia burglary

Mirrabooka Detectives are seeking information regarding an assault and burglary incident that occurred in Coolbinia in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 31 October 2017.

Sometime between midnight and 12:45am, three men entered a home on Armadale Crescent and were confronted by the male occupant. The offenders assaulted the man and left the area in the victim’s 2009 model, black Mercedes-Benz CLS63 Coupe (similar to the below photo).

The 62 year old man received serious head and facial injuries and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment.

Around 1am, police attended Central Avenue in Inglewood after receiving reports of a Mercedes-Benz doing burnouts. Police located the crashed and abandoned vehicle at the roundabout of Central Avenue and Hamer Parade.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who saw any suspicious persons in the vicinity of Armadale Crescent, or anyone who saw the crash or the Mercedes-Benz crash prior to the crash. They would also like to speak to anyone who saw the occupant(s) of the vehicle.
