New Burns Beach primary school for northern suburbs

Local families are set to benefit from a new multimillion-dollar primary school to be built in the high growth area of Burns Beach.

The new primary school will be built on Bramston Vista during 2020-21 and will help cater for the growing population in the local area.

Neighbouring Beaumaris Primary School and Kinross Primary School have more than 670 students each and are forecast to grow.

The existing primary schools in the area will have enough places to cater for students from Burns Beach until the new school is built.

The 2017-18 State Budget included $465 million to build new primary schools and a secondary college, performing arts centres and redevelop ageing secondary schools across WA.

This investment in school infrastructure will create jobs for Western Australians and ensure students are learning in facilities that meet modern education needs.
