Funding support for regional childcare services

The McGowan Government has confirmed that regional education and care services in Western Australia will continue to receive support to build capacity and remain viable in the regions.

The support, which will be funded through the Regional Community Child Care Development Fund (RCCCDF), will see more than $1.65 million directed to key regional programs.

The funding will build on the strong outcomes already being delivered by the program which includes grants and regional strategies to promote sustainable community childcare.

The RCCCDF funding for 2017-18 was announced in the State Budget in September. Further announcements about specific regional funding components will be made in the coming weeks.
