Four innovators in the agriculture and aquaculture sector are set to receive a total of $109,000 in scholarship funding in the second round of the Premier’s Agriculture and Aquaculture Entrepreneurship Program.
The successful applicants are:
- Justine Arnold for Indian Ocean Fresh Australia;
- Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation and Maxima Pearling Company;
- Tim Hyde and Rod Campbell of Indicina Pty Ltd; and
- Anthony Quinlan of Soil Dynamics.
The scholarships will enable the recipients to travel across Australia and internationally to learn from some of the world’s most innovative producers, and establish valuable connections in their industry.
The program is part of the $3.41 million Science and Agribusiness Connect initiative funded by Royalties for Regions.
