Western Australians encouraged to get outdoors this October

Sport and Recreation Minister Mick Murray is encouraging Western Australians to spend time in the State’s amazing outdoors this month to celebrate Outdoors October.

Organised by Outdoors WA and supported by the State Government, the month-long celebration encourages people of all ages to get outside, be active and take in the natural world around them.

Events this October include outdoor fitness sessions, come and try stand-up paddleboard events, wildflower rambles, family fishing clinics and Albany’s Camp Quaranup open day. Many of the activities are free, family-friendly and designed for beginners.
