Grants to support veterans and their families

Anzac Day Trust Grants are now open for ex-service organisations to support the welfare of veterans and their families.

Funding of $300,000 is available for programs and events that focus on mental health issues and the transition to employment post service.

The Anzac Day Trust was established as part of the Anzac Day Act 1960, which stipulates that part proceeds from race meetings and organised sporting events held on Anzac Day would contribute to the Trust fund.

Each year, the Minister for Veterans Issues invites ex-service organisations to apply for a grant from the Trust. Applications are reviewed by the Trustees who make recommendations to the Minister.

Applications close on October 20, 2017. For more information, visit the Anzac Day Trust Grants program webpage.
