Redcliffe Deliberate Fire

Arson Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information to assist with their investigation into a building fire in Redcliffe on Friday, 21 July 2017.

Around 3am, Police and Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a building fire on Great Eastern Highway. The building is a commercial property and is heritage listed. The deliberate fire caused an estimated $150,000 damage.

Detectives would like to speak to the driver of a white utility seen driving along Great Eastern Highway near the building at around 3am.

Anyone with information regarding this fire, or who saw any suspicious vehicles or persons in the area between 2:30am and 3:30am, is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
