Homicide Squad Detectives investigating the murder of 35-year-old Rebecca Jane Gascoigne are appealing for public assistance to identify the driver of a vehicle who may have information relevant to this matter.
Ms Gascoigne was found deceased inside a car on the Mitchell Freeway, near Cedric Street, on Saturday July 15, 2017.
A 42-year-old man has since been charged over Ms Gascoigne’s death.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives would like to speak to the driver of a vehicle that may have picked up or stopped and spoken to a man who was near the Northshore Drive car park (Whitford Beach) at about 12.40am on Saturday July 15.
The vehicle was driving south on Northshore Drive, Kallaroo, shortly before the possible interaction with the man.
