Port Hedland – Stolen Equipment

East Pilbara Detectives are seeking assistance with a stealing incident that occurred between Wednesday 5 July and Friday 7 July 2017 in Port Hedland.

At an unknown time during the date range, an unknown number of people have boarded a boat that was anchored at the Stingray Creek Mooring Area.

Once on-board, they have stolen a large black box containing equipment valued at over $225,000. The equipment is believed to look similar to the images below.

The stolen equipment has been flagged with the manufacturer and are therefore unable to be maintained without detection giving the equipment a limited lifespan.
