Joondalup Detectives have charged a 35 year old man in relation to a series of burglaries in the Butler area on Saturday 8 July 2017.
It is alleged between 3:50am and 4:30am, the man attempted to gain entry into numerous homes in the area.
It is also alleged he forced entry into a few houses whilst occupants were home.
The man from Quinns Rock has been charged with:
- Three counts of Home Burglary with Intent;
- One count each of Attempted Armed Robbery;
- Criminal Damage;
- Burglary and commit;
- Stealing;
- Without Lawful Excuse Trespassed on a Place; and
- Give False Personal Details to Police.
He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 9 July 2017.
Inquiries are continuing and detectives are asking anyone in the area of Sanderstead Loop and Rosegreen Ave who have CCTV cameras to check if they recorded any suspicious persons in the area between 4:20am and 7:20am yesterday.
They are also asking anyone who has located a black hooded jacket or sneakers discarded in the same area to contact them.
